Here are the fixtures Bukayo Saka might possibly miss for Arsenal following the latest injury update from Mikel Arteta.
Ahead of the Arsenal vs Everton match, head coach Mikel Arteta, in his pre-match press conference, revealed that Bukayo Saka's injury is not looking good and would need further examination before a decision on when he would return for the club is finalised.
"We need a few more scans and opinions from the specialists, when a player is struggling to walk off the pitch and he's restricted in his movement, they are not good signs." He said.
The Premier League champions' head coach opened up on how he will also have an MRI scan today, Friday, October 23rd 2026: "He's going for an MRI this afternoon because he had a lot of fluid in the area so it was difficult to understand the severity of the injury. We will know tomorrow."
When asked if Saka driving to training had offered any form of comfort Arteta confirmed that this was good news as he was happy the England international could do this. "I'm happy he can drive!"
Speaking on how this is different from last year, Arteta revealed, "It's been different in the last year or so, obviously the demands for ever player are immense, the intensity of those matches, the time between games is getting narrower, we played Sunday, then Wednesday and now Saturday, every hour is important. If they [authorities] can support the amount we are putting into these players, it would be really appreciated. We have to play three times in less than six games, the games are so demanding, we are chasing until the last minute."
Speculations, however, indicate that Saka could miss two months or more of action for Arsenal and might not make his return for the Gunners until 2027. This would be a huge blow as Bukayo is an integral part of Arteta's set up and would be missed if this were to be the case.

Bukayo Saka could be sidelined until 2027, potentially leaving Arsenal without one of their key players for a crucial run of fixtures.
