The board at West Ham United are moving swiftly to find a replacement for David Moyes before the beginning of the 2024/25 football season.
The Hammers decided to terminate Moyes' contract following a disappointing season in the league and across all competitions. The Scot had failed to lead the London Club to achieve greatness after a series of bad results, also conceding 70 goals in the Premier League with two games until the end of the season.
Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that West Ham and former Sevilla manager, Julen Lopetegui have reached an agreement ahead of next season. According to reports, both parties have reached an agreement with the final details already agreed.
Sporting Lisbon coach Ruben Amorim had been the second name on a two-man shortlist but his £12.8million release clause had become a major problem for the Premier League side. The Portuguese international has also confirmed that he will remain with Sporting and he was focused on helping them with trophies.
