The body governing football in Europe, has announced Real Madrid's forward player, Vinicius Jnr as the best player of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League 2023/24 season.
The announcement was made on the official website of UEFA on Monday, June 3, 2024, after the completion of the voting process by the members of the panel. Vinicius Jr was named winner of the award after following his impressive performance for Real Madrid this season.
The Brazilian was a key part of Real Madrid's success winning the UEFA Champions League for a record 15 times, a feat that has never been achieved by any club in the history of the competition. Vinicius scored six goals and made five assists in Real's season including the second in the 2-0 win against Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
