Nigeria's 100-meter Hurdles specialist, Tobi Amusan dominated the tracks in the final race of the Diamond League in Stockholm.
The Olympic Gold medalist ran the fastest time ( 12.52 seconds) in the final race in the Women’s 100m Hurdles on July 2, 2023. She beat Sarah Lavin who clocked a Personal Best (PB) of 12.73s for 2nd and Pia Skrzyszowska in 12.78s for 3rd place.
Tobi Amusan won her second event of the year, having also won the Racers Grand Prix in Jamaica, and her first Diamond League event of the season. Amusan is the current world record holder in the 100m hurdles.
She will be going into the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games as one of the favourites to win gold. The hurdler is also preparing for the World Championships in Budapest latest this year (2023).
