The manager of Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag has vented about the way officiating went in the game against Arsenal at the Emirates.

The Dutchman was speaking at the post-match press conference which was played on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
The match looked to be heading for a draw until substitute Alejandro Garnacho seemed to have won the show for the game for Erik Ten Hag in the 88th minute and slotted past Aaron Ramsdale.

"However, VAR ruled out the goal as the young Argentine was declared to be offside."

He also expressed his disappointment in the fact that Declan Rice's goal was not ruled out because of the foul on Jonny Evans leading to the goal.

"It's not offside, it's the wrong [camera] angle. There was a penalty on Hojlund, and foul on Evans [for the Rice goal]. The performance was right. Everything went against us."

This result means Arsenal quest to challenge Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title took a big step with this victory over the Red Devils.
