Manchester United's head coach Erik Ten Hag has broken his silence on the future of players Rashford and Ronaldo at Old Trafford.

Manchester United's senior coach Erik Ten Hag has cleared the air on the future of Marcus Rashford amidst interest from PSG and Cristiano Ronaldo amidst reports of him wanting to leave the club.

Erik Ten Hag did not offer any reassurance as to if Marcus Rashford would remain at Old Trafford following reports of him already in talks with PSG but the red devils coach however reaffirmed that he was delighted to have Marcus around and that he is a player that is part of his plans for the club.

Ten Hag revealed:

"He's really important, you have seen from the first day I'm here, I'm really happy with him, I don't want to lose him, he's definitely in our plans at Manchester United.

Opening up on the future of Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United and on if he would be starting the game for the Red Devils over the weekend Ten Hag indicated that the Portuguese legend was in training and putting in maximum efforts to get back to proper match fitness.

This comes after reports indicated that Cristiano Ronaldo would reluctantly remain at Manchester United unless an offer for him comes from a top side.

He revealed:

"So he had a good training week, I thought he played a little bit longer than half an hour, he's had two half games and for the starting XI we will see tomorrow. My decision, I keep it."
