Tammy Abraham set for a shocking return to the Premier League

Former Chelsea player, Tammy Abraham is set to return to the English Premier League, three years after he left the Blues to join AS Roma.

Daily Mail confirmed the news on its website on Friday, June 14, 2024, according to reports, West Ham, Aston Villa and Tottenham have all shown interest in getting to forward player return to England. Tammy Abraham was a big part of the Chelsea team that won the UEFA Champions League under Thomas Tuchel during the 2020/21 football season.

Aston Villa will look like the best option for Tammy because of the relationship he had with them in the past. He scored 26 goals to help Villa gain promotion back to the Premier League during the 2018/19 season, before returning to his parent club Chelsea.

The 26-year-old enjoyed his first season at Roma which saw him score 27 goals and also a key part of the Serie A side winning the Europa Conference League. However, Abraham struggled to keep fit during the 2023-2024 campaign, which saw him start just eight league games.

West Ham, Aston Villa and Tottenham will all be looking at the possibility of bringing him back to the Premier League ahead of next season.
