Manchester United supporters can not seem to take a break from the crisis hitting their beloved club in matters both on and off the pitch.

Qatari-based businessman, Sheikh Jassim has withdrawn from the Manchester United bidding process. Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official X account on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

It was reported that the Glazzers family are not ready to give up 100% of the club despite Sheikh Jassim's offer to double the initial price he was ready to pay.

"Sheikh Jassim has had further discussions with Glazers family to buy 100% of Manchester United. Sheikh Jassim’s bid proposition has been rejected again by Glazers family. As a result, Sheikh Jassim informed Glazers that he’s ready to withdraw from the process. Sheikh Jassim has presented fully cash bid, clearing all old debt, with zero new debt, for 100% of the Club. Sheikh Jassim’s team decline to comment on this news citing confidentiality restrictions, but have confirmed they have withdrawn from the process.”

However, there are reports that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is believed to be ready to offer to purchase 25% of the Glazer's shares to eventually become Manchester United's majority owner.
