The Black Stars of Ghana have gone down the ladder in the latest FIFA ranking that was released ahead of the World Cup.

The West African country is the least-ranked country going into the competition which will be hosted in Qatar later this year. Ghana is ranked 62nd in the ranking and this is the lowest Ghana has sunk heading into the competition.
Senegal is the top-ranked African nation in the ranking followed by Morocco in second place. Tunisia, Nigeria and Algeria complete the third to fifth position in Africa respectively.
Brazil maintains their number-one position in the World, followed by Belgium in second place while France and England complete the top five. Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal and Denmark complete the top ten places in the best-ranked teams in the world.
