Rodrygo signs a contract extension with Real Madrid

Real Madrid have confirmed that Rodrygo has signed a contract extension with the Galacticos which will see him stay at the club until the summer of 2028.

Rodrygo joined Real Madrid in 2019 at the age of 18, he made his debut for Real Madrid Castilla on September 14 and scored a goal on his official debut with Real Madrid on September 25, 2019. The player's buy-out clause has been placed at one billion pounds by Real Madrid.
 
The 23-year-old has been fantastic for Real Madrid in the past five seasons defending and has played 179 games, in which he has scored 39 goals and won 8 titles: 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 2 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

Rodrygo scored several goals that have made him to be part of the club's history. He gave a fantastic performance in the final of the 2023 Copa del Rey in Seville, he scored the two goals of the victory (2-1) and was the MVP of the final.
