According to recent reports captain of Chelsea FC, Reece James is eyeing a possible exit away from Stamford Bridge to other club sides.

With his persistent injuries and possible lack of appearances reports now indicate that England international Reece James is eyeing a possible exit from Chelsea FC before his contract with the club expires.

Reports now indicate that Reece James could be open to a possible move to either Barcelona or Benfica in a bid to effectively manage his injury concerns.

Since the beginning of the 2022/23 season, Reece James has managed to make only 26 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, with just eleven appearances across all competitions last season.

Last season, James underwent surgery to address a recurring hamstring injury and featured in a few of Chelsea's closing matches. Unfortunately, he hasn't played for the club this season due to another hamstring injury sustained during pre-season.

According to journalist Matt Law, James is expected to resume full training next week, barring any setbacks. Law commented, "Reece is due back in full training, all being well, next week hopefully. I’m always a bit cautious because there might be a minor issue that causes a delay, but the hope is to get Reece back into full training soon. One thing is certain—they’ll handle his return with extreme caution, so even if he resumes training, don’t expect him to be rushed back into action."
