Reports indicate that Chelsea's Raheem Sterling could be poised to play Champions League football in the 2024/2025 season.
Following his omission from the side that faced Man City in Chelsea's first game of the 2024/2025 season, reports indicate that England forward Raheem Sterling could be poised for a move out of Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window and could be on his way to a club that would play Champions League this season as well.
According to Daily Mail UK, Italian Serie A side Juventus have shown interest in signing Sterling as an option for their side under the new leadership of Thiago Motta with the club also pushing for the sale of other players in their squad.
Juventus is keen to strengthen their attack, and Sterling’s pace and skillset make him an attractive option.
However, any potential deal would depend on Juventus offloading current players to accommodate Sterling’s salary and Chelsea’s valuation of the player.
It however remains to be seen if the England international is keen on a move with his family to Italy and leave the United Kingdom at this stage of his career. Even if he does decide to move, Juventus will have to strike a deal with Chelsea quickly, with the transfer deadline fast approaching.
