#Qatar2022: Didier Drogba Reacts to Morocco's Defeat Against France

Former Chelsea Player, Didier Drogba has sent a message to the Moroccan national team ahead of the game against Croatia.

Morocco

The Ivorian was speaking at an interview after the semi-final clash against the defending champions, France. Drogba urged the North Africans to go all out in their final game of the tournament against Croatia.

I have seen a great Moroccan team, who gave everything to win. They weren't really focusing on the final pass to score a goal and they got punished by a France team, who scored goals when it really mattered. Morocco still have the chance to make history and finish third in the final game.

Morocco had set history as the first African nation to make it to the last four after initial attempts by Ghana, Cameroon, and Senegal who, unfortunately, fell in the quarter-finals in 2010, 1990 and 2002 respectively.

Morocco will hope they can take your fairy tale story a step higher by beating Croatia in the third-place match. This will make them the first African team to finish in third place at the FIFA World Cup.
