Ahead of the Champions League fixture for Wednesday, it has been revealed that a Premier League player was involved in a car crash.
Tottenham Hotspur forward Randal Kolo Muani is expected to be available for Wednesday’s Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt, despite being involved in a minor traffic incident on Tuesday.
Head coach Thomas Frank confirmed that the Premier League player is "fine" after his vehicle suffered a tyre blowout, thereby causing the accident. Images had surfaced on social media showing Kolo Muani and teammate Wilson Odobert near a damaged black Ferrari, sparking initial concern. However, it was later clarified that the two were in separate cars; Odobert, who was driving behind, had simply stopped to assist his teammate.
Although the incident caused a slight delay in their travel schedule, preventing them from flying out with the main squad, both players are slated to arrive in Germany on Tuesday night. Frank addressed the situation during his pre-match press conference, reassuring fans that everyone involved escaped without injury and that he fully anticipates both players will be ready for selection.
The duo had already successfully completed a training session at the club's Enfield facility earlier that day before the mishap occurred.
