The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has spoken about his future of the Etihad and the possibility of picking a successor.

The Spaniard was speaking in an interview which was posted on the official Twitter account of football daily on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022. According to him, it would be a waste of energy to think about who will replace him or what the future holds for him.
I learn that when I became a manager, I use to think about what will happen next month or next year but for the years, I think what a waste of energy, thinking about what is going to happen next season.... The moment it is going to happen, I will decide with the club so if I stay here perfect and if I don't stay here it will be perfect too because I know how strong they are in whatever decision they take.
Guardiola has been a fantastic manager for the Cityzens since he joined them in the summer of 2016. He has won every domestic title in England but he is still looking to win the UEFA Champions League for the Manchester City.
