Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has shared his opinion on the chances of Arsenal winning the Premier League title.
Pep Guardiola admitted that Mikel Arteta’s side have been the most consistent and impressive outfit in the league so far, combining defensive solidity with attacking sharpness. The City boss was full of praise for Arsenal’s structure and mentality, highlighting their ability to control games and grind out results when needed.
Guardiola noted that Arsenal’s maturity, particularly in big matches, has been a key factor in their title charge, stressing that such consistency is what separates genuine contenders from the rest.
He said,
"Absolutely, the best team right now in the world. Hopefully we can be close and getting better, getting better and have the chance to catch them. I have an extraordinary team, an extraordinary group of players. And we are all together. We are a fantastic football team, I don’t have any doubts about that.”
Guardiola also hinted that City must improve their own performances if they are to put real pressure on Arsenal. He emphasized focus, rhythm, and staying competitive in every competition as crucial factors moving forward, suggesting that his side’s response in the coming weeks will define their season.
