Olymoique Marseille have officially unveiled a new club logo, marking a significant shift in their visual identity for the first time in over two decades.

The French giants introduced the redesigned crest as part of a broader rebranding strategy aimed at modernizing the club’s global image while preserving its historic roots.

The new logo retains the iconic “OM” monogram that has long defined Marseille’s identity, but presents it in a cleaner and more refined style. The design has been simplified to align with modern branding trends, making it more adaptable across digital platforms, merchandise, and official kits.

Despite the modernization, key elements such as the gold star—symbolizing the club’s historic UEFA Champions League triumph in 1993—and the famous motto “Droit au but” remain intact.

The club officials emphasized that the redesign is not just aesthetic but strategic. By refreshing the crest, Marseille aims to strengthen its international presence and appeal to a younger, global audience.

The move reflects a growing trend in football, where clubs are streamlining their visual identities to remain competitive both on and off the pitch in an increasingly digital era.
