Everton Football Club have confirmed the appointment of Frank Lampard as its new manager.

The announcement was made on Everton's official website on Sunday, January 30th, 2022. According to reports, the English man signed a contract which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2025. Lampard was appointed following the sack of Rafael Benitez following the bad run of results during his tenure at the club.
Lampard will be bringing his experience from Derby County and Chelsea to the Merseyside club. The Chelsea legend was in charge of Derby County before he was appointed manager of Chelsea during the 2019/20 season.
The former Chelsea man expressed his delight on joining the club after he was out of job for almost a year. He said he is looking forward to working with the players.

He took the Blues to fourth place against all odds in a season where he could not sign any player but was sacked in January 2021 following a series of bad results at the club.
Everton fans will hope, Lampard's experience at Chelsea will take them off the relegation side of the league table. The English man's first game will be in the FA Cup against Brentford at Goodison Park.
