Chelsea's forward player, Nicolas Jackson, was named the winner of the Premier League goal of the month for October 2024.
The Senegalese international achieved this feat during Chelsea's home game against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge. Nicolas Jackson scored the first goal of the game, with the assist from Joao Pedro, who received the sublime pass Cole Palmer.
This is the second time this season a Chelsea player has won the goal of the month award, after Palmer claimed August's prize for his goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Chelsea have now won three of the last four Guinness Goal of the Month awards, and have won it nine times since it was introduced in 2016/17, second only to the 10 of Manchester United
Jackson's goal topped a shortlist of eight of the best in October after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of experts.
