The NFF has unveiled a new coach for the Super Eagles of Nigeria following the poor outing at the AFCON 2021 and the World Cup qualifiers.
The NNF has announced a new coach for the Super Eagles of Nigeria following the poor run of form for the men's national side at the African Cup Of Nations and the World Cup Qualifiers against the Black Stars of Ghana.
In an official statement released by the NFF, the Portuguese man Jose Peseiro has been named the head coach of the Super Eagles Of Nigeria with immediate effect. The statement read:
Peseiro is expected to lead out the Super Eagles for the first time during the upcoming tour of the United States of America, during which the three-time African champions will slug it out with Mexico and Ecuador ‘A’ Teams in prestige friendlies. The Eagles will tango with the El Tri at the AT & T Stadium in Dallas, the State of Texas on Saturday, 28th May before flying to New Jersey to confront Ecuador at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison on Thursday, 2nd June.”
