Nations that have qualified for AFCON 2023

The qualifying games for the Africa Cup of Nations that will be hosted in Ivory Coast next year ( 2024) have officially come to an end.

The competitions will have some of the football powerhouses in the African continent to compete for the most lucrative trophy in the land. Cameroon and Namibia became the 23rd and 24th final two teams to qualify following the showdown in Ivory Coast that will be going down in January 2024.

The Indomitable Lions finished top of their group followed by Namibia in second place and Burundi in third place.

When will the tournament take place?

The AFCON 2023 was initially meant to be played in June 2023 but it was moved to January 2024 over fears that the rainy season could disrupt many games.
