Arteta was speaking at a press conference after the Gunners defeated FC Zurich of Switzerland, the result ensured Arsenal finished top of the group meaning they will avoid the Europa League play-offs. According to Arteta, Jesus has been amazing in different areas for the team despite his lack of gal scoring form in recent weeks.

That’s going to change [his bad luck], he’s getting the situations, he’s getting the chances, he’s contributing to the team an awful lot, he’s helping to win matches, the way he competes for every ball in every single action is incredible. It will come [the goals] he needs to be patient, he’s been through that in the past and he needs to learn those lessons and don’t stop doing those other things that he’s doing so well, because that’s going to maintain the level of him and the team.

Jesus scored five goals in his first nine games for Arsenal but has failed to find the back of the net in his last eight games. Arsenal supporters will hope, he will find his scoring boots again when they play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, November 6th, 2022.
