Two of the biggest teams ( Arsenal and Manchester City) in the Premier League will lock horns this weekend, as they look to get a beating right over one another on the pitch and at the league table.

Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta while addressing the press ahead of the Premier League clash gave an update on the injury to Thomas Partey and Bukayo Saka. The England International limped off in Arsenal's midweek Champions League defeat at Lens on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, with Arteta admitting he did not at the extent of the injury at that point.

The Spaniard confirmed that Saka is in contention for the game against the Champions.

"He is in contention. He had to leave the pitch. Let’s see how he recovers.”

He also gave an update on Thomas Partey, who returned as an unused sub against Lens.

Arteta said,

“He is ahead of schedule. He will be in the squad.”

Arsenal fans will hope they can keep their unbeaten record intact when they host Manchester City on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the Emirates Stadium.
