The manager of Arsenal Football Club Mikel Arteta has given an update on the fitness of Eberechi Eze ahead of the clash against Bournemouth.
Mikel Arteta confirmed that the former Crystal Palace player will be available for the game against the Cherries as they continue in their quest to win the Premier League.
Arteta also acknowledged that there are still a few injury concerns within the team, particularly involving players who have been sidelined in recent weeks. He suggested that decisions on their involvement will depend on late fitness tests, emphasizing that the club is being cautious to avoid setbacks.
"Eze is available. He has been ahead of schedule but my first conversation with him was after he felt a niggle. He wanted to be available the next week, but we knew that was impossible."
The Spaniard hinted that Arsenal could receive a boost with one or two players potentially returning to the matchday squad. He stressed the importance of having depth at this stage of the season, especially with the team competing on multiple fronts.
