The supporters of Arsenal Football Club will be hoping that their team can get a victory over Newcastle United this weekend so they can put pressure on Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Gunners' manager, Mikel Arteta has been speaking tough ahead of the game against the Magpies. He also spoke about the injury to some of its key players ahead of the match.

He said, Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Thomas Partey are all close to match fitness but he did not confirm if they will be available against Newcastle at the Emirates.

"We have another session today and he has been out for many many months, and I want to nail the timing and when he has enough in the tank to compete."

He also confirmed that Jesus and Zinchenko are also close but he believes that Tomiyasu is still a little bit longer. However, he said Jurrien Timber will take a bit longer but he hopes that he should be available before the end of the season.

"I really hope so. He’s doing really well. He’s going to start doing some bits with us in the next week or so. We’ll see how that evolves."

Arsenal supporters will hope that their team beat Newcastle so they go can reduce the points between themselves and Liverpool to two points.
