Chelsea Football Club will be without most of the usual names when the next football season kicks off in August 2023.
The latest player that could leave Chelsea is Matteo Kovacic who is reportedly linked with a move to the Premier League Champions, Manchester City. The Croatian International has reportedly gotten approval from Chelsea to speak with the Citizens.
The Blues are looking to trim down their squad when the 2023 summer transfer window opens under the management of the new head coach, Mauricio Pochettino. Other Players that could leave the club include, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, and Callum Hodson-Odoi.
Chelsea supporters will hope that this decision will work in favor of the club. However, the decision to sell Kovacic could mean that the Blues will renew the contract of N'Golo Kante.
