Chelsea Football Club could be without the services of one of its key midfielders, Matteo Kovacic when the football season kicks off in August 2023.
The Croatian has agreed on personal terms with Manchester City, this was confirmed on the official Twitter account of Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano. Kovacic is ready to move to the Etihad but a deal must be made between Chelsea and City before the deal must see the light of day.
N'Golo Kante is also expected to leave Chelsea as a free agent, he has reportedly agreed on a deal to join the Saudi Arabian club side, Al-Ittihad.
The Blues are looking to trim down their squad when the 2023 summer transfer window opens under the management of the new head coach, Mauricio Pochettino. Other Players that could leave the club include, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, and Callum Hodson-Odoi.
