Marcus Rashford has responded to claims of him demanding 500,000 pounds from Manchester United in new contract talks.
Amidst talks of Manchester United preparing a new contract for their in-form star player Marcus Rashford, rumours and speculations have surfaced about the England star's request from the club. This prompted Marcus Rashford to directly respond to claims and allegations of him demanding 500,000 pounds per week from the Red Devils to remain at the club.
Marcus Rashford, whose contract expires at the end of the 2022/2023 season, revealed that it was a baseless rumour that he was demanding 500,000 pounds from Manchester United.
The football star took to his social media handles to deny the reports, and he stated that:
Just before this one starts to do the rounds! It's complete nonsense. The club and make self [sic] have been respectful to one another, and that's how it will remain. My focus is purely on finishing as well as possible in the league and winning trophies."
