The Manchester United supporter called the player who was walking outside the stadium when the game was over. However, Rashford's response seems to have gotten a bit of reaction from football fans around the world.
The player has taken to his official Twitter account to clear the air about the incident. He said he overreacted towards the fan but he, however, believed he overreacted but he is human after all.
A video can paint a thousand words and in this case lead to inaccurate info being shared on social media. I had been heckled from the minute I stepped foot outside the ground, abuse not just aimed at my football. People were looking for a reaction from me. Phones were at the ready. Of course I should have walked straight past and ignored it, that's what we're supposed to do right. used his forefinger to direct the fan to 'come over and say it to my face' and did not gesture with my middle finger.
The player has been on tthe wrong side of the Red Devil fans following his poor performance in games for the club both in the League and other competitions.
