We might be seeing another chapter in the love story between Manchester United and David De Gea anytime soon.
There are reports from England that the Red Devils are reportedly set to bring back David De Gea to the club before the end of the year. The Spaniard's contract expired on June 31, 2023, at the end of last season ( 2022/23) after weeks of negotiations broke down, he announced his departure from Old Trafford.
However, De Gea has not been able to get himself a new club for the past few months. The board at Manchester United are looking for a perfect replacement for when Andre Onana goes to represent Andre Onana at the Africa Cup of Nations which will be hosted in Cote d'Ivoire in January 2024.
Onana joined Inter Milan during the 2023 summer transfer window from Inter Milan. He has failed to hit the ground running since he joined the Red Devils, keeping just four clean sheets in 13 games across competitions.
De Gea joined United from Atlético Madrid in 2011, he made 545 appearances for the Red Devils with 190 clean sheets. He won the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Europa League and two Carabao Cups
