Manchester United supporters around the world can finally breathe a sigh of relief following the progress of Mason Mount's deal.
The Red Devils and the Blues have been at loggerheads to reach an agreement for a transfer fee for England International. Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Manchester United will pay £60 million for Mason Mount, £55 million fixed plus £5 million add-ons.
Chelsea have reportedly rejected three bids from Manchester United in the past three weeks. However, Mount has been given permission to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms, with both clubs set to the paperwork.
Mount's contract is expected to sign a long-term contract that will see him stay at Old Trafford at least until 2028 with an option to extend until 2029.
