Following incessant injuries to the midfield maestro Kevin De Bruyne reports now confirm that Man City might be ready to explore getting a possible replacement in the January 2025 transfer window.

According to reports, Manchester City is very interested in signing Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich, possibly looking to replace Kevin De Bruyne on a long-term basis. It was speculated that Musiala was approached by City during the most recent transfer window, but the deal fell through.

According to Goal.com, Manchester City are considering offering Bayern Munich a whopping sum of €100 million to sign him, however, Real Madrid might also be in the race for him. The youngster still has a contract with Bayern Munich till 2026 and he’s yet to enter negotiations with Bayern to extend his contract.

Bayern Munich might think about asking around €100 million for Musiala, especially if they are successful in signing Florian Wirtz. Although City is leading the race, Musiala's high reputation around Europe may cause them to face competition from other European heavyweights like Real Madrid and Arsenal.

For Bayern Munich, Jamal Musiala has had a great start to the 2024/2025 campaign. He has participated in six games thus far in all competitions, scoring three goals and dishing out two assists. In four appearances in the Bundesliga, he has three goals and one assist. He also participated in the DFB-Pokal and the Champions League victory over Dinamo Zagreb for Bayern.
