Chelsea’s head coach Liam Rosenior played led his team at the dugout for the first time at Stamford Bridge since he was appointed against Arsenal.
Rosenior was speaking in his post-match press conference after the first leg of the Carabao Cup game against Arsenal. He confirmed that he was not happy with the result but it was a positive step in the right direction.
“I am encouraged from what I saw against Arsenal. I am not happy to lose but it's a building block and I can see where the players need to improve”.

He highlighted moments where his team showed resilience and composure, but conceded that small errors and lapses were punished against a side of Arsenal’s calibre.
