The supporters of Manchester United were hit with sad news following the injury news to the club's latest signing, Leny Yoro, and its forward player, Rasmus Hojlund.

Both players were forced off in the first half of the 2-1 defeat against Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Leny Yoro limped off in the 35th minute during the pre-season game, after lengthy treatment, and was then seen using crutches and wearing a protective boot on his left foot.

Rasmus Hojlund scored against Arsenal but then went off in the 16th minute and will also miss the start of the season. There were initial reports that the injury was minor and he would be back within two to three weeks but that was not the case for the forward player.

How many weeks will Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund expected to be out for?

He is expected to be out for at least three months with a foot injury while Hojlund is expected to be out for six weeks after picking a hamstring injury.

United also suffered a double injury in their 3-2 victory against Real Betis, Marcus Rashford was substituted during the victory against the Spanish side while Antony also followed the footsteps of the England international.

Manchester United supporters will hope the injury to both players are minor as they look forward to the start of the new season.
