Real Madrid's forward player, Karim Benzema has reportedly responded to the reports saying that he could be at the Stadium to pick up his World Cup medal.

The 34-year-old picked up an injury just a few days before the start of the Qatar 2022 which ruled him out of the competition. However, the head coach of France, Didier Deschamps did not call up another player to replace Benzema.
Benzema posted a selfie on his official Instagram account on Friday, December 16th, 2022 with the caption, which was translated as " I don't care" ahead of the World Cup final against Argentina on Sunday, December 18th, 2022.
Benzema started full training back with his club and was given approval by Real Madrid to return to Qatar. If France lift the trophy, Benzema will be in line for a winners’ medal, but he is unlikely collect that in person.
