The manager of Liverpool Football Club, Jurgen Klopp, has revealed the biggest mistake he made in his coaching career.

Klopp was speaking in an interview with KBS news, an outlet which is based in South Korea. According to the German, he revealed that his decision not to sign, Son Heung-Min was one mistake that he will always regret.

One of the biggest mistakes in my life is not signing Son Heung-min. He is fantastic, a sign of Korean football and the best striker in the world.

Klopp was interested in signing Son from Hamburger when he was at Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2013. He however decided to join Bayer Leverkusen before he coming to the Premier League to join Tottenham.

The Liverpool manager was also speaking about the possibility of Son wearing a face mask for South Korea at the World Cup. The player picked up an eye injury in the UEFA Champions League game against Marseille.

He underwent surgery at a hospital in London and had since been discharged from the hospital but there is nothing official from the South Korea Football Association.
