Liverpool Football Club has been in its worse form since Jurgen Klopp took over from Brendan Rodgers in 2015.

The Red side of Merseyside have been hit with a lot of injury crisis to some of its key players. Klopp gave an update on the current situation of Diogo Jota ahead of the FA Cup replay game against Wolves at the Molineux and the weekend game against Chelsea Football Club.

I don’t know exactly how long Diogo will out for, but he looks really good. He is out there on the pitch and doing a lot of stuff already but he will be out for another few weeks. In contention for the Champions League? From my point of view, yes.

He also spoke about his Uruguayan forward player, Darwin Nunez who was signed during the 2022 summer transfer window. The forward player is close to recovery.

Liverpool are still without their top-class defender, Virgil Van Dijk, who is expected to be out for at least a month after picking up a hamstring injury in the game against Brentford.
