Liverpool's manager, Jurgen Klopp, has indicated that talks are ongoing about the future of Mohamed Salah at the club. Salah has two years left on his contract and there are rumors that the Egyptian might not sign a new contract with the Reds.
Klopp, who was speaking with Sky Sports on Friday, August 20th, 2021, at a Press conference ahead of Liverpool's weekend fixture against Burnley.

The German said the club has started talking to all the people concerned as it concerns the winger extending his contract with the Merseyside club.
We don't really speak about these things. We have changed that a bit with Hendo, but it doesn't mean we will talk from now on about each little step we make in every negotiation and stuff like this. Two things, Mo is in a really good mood-wise, how he behaves from the first day when he came back, absolutely great.

Salah became the third-fastest player to score 100 goals for Liverpool in October 2020. He is also 11th on Liverpool's all-time scorers' list with 126 goals in 204 games.
