Julian Nagelsmann, the former manager of Bayern Munich, has committed his future to the German national team for the upcoming 2024 European competition.

Initially, he was placed on a short-term deal after taking over from Hansi Flick following a series of poor results. However, Julian Nagelsmann resumed his job with Germany in September 2023 and has secured three wins in the six games he has been in charge of.

After signing a new contract, Nagelsmann expressed his excitement and stated that it's an honor for him to coach the national team.

He said,

"This is a decision of the heart. It's a great honor to train the national team and work with the best players in the country. With successful, passionate performances, we have the chance to inspire an entire country. The two wins against France and the Netherlands in March really touched me. We want to play a successful home European Championship together, and I'm really looking forward to the challenge of the World Cup with my coaching team."

Germany's journey in the Euro 2024 will start with a match against Scotland on June 14, followed by meetings with Hungary and Switzerland. However, before the competition starts, Germany will play friendly games against Ukraine and Greece.
