
Brentford forward Igor Thiago has been crowned the Premier League Player of the Month for November 2025, following an amazing run of form that firmly established him as one of the league’s most dangerous attackers.
The Brazilian becomes the first Brentford player to win the award, having scored five goals in four of the Bees' November fixtures.
He netted a brace in the 3-1 win over Newcastle United at Gtech Community Stadium on 9 November, with the first from the penalty spot and the second after he latched onto a loose ball in the final third, before coolly slotting past Aaron Ramsdale.
The Brazilian enjoyed a remarkable month in front of goal, delivering clinical finishes, match-winning moments, and a level of consistency that made him impossible to overlook.Thiago began the month on fire, striking twice in Brentford’s impressive 3–1 comeback victory over Newcastle United. His goals not only turned the game around but also showcased his instinctive movement and composure inside the box. Even in Brentford’s narrow defeat to Brighton, Thiago remained influential, converting a penalty and continually troubling the Seagulls’ defence with his relentless energy and physicality.
The highlight of his month came in the 3–1 win over Burnley, where he once again produced a stunning brace. From open-play finishes to pressure-filled penalties, Thiago delivered in every scenario. His goals proved decisive in pushing Brentford into the top half of the table, underlining his growing importance to the team’s attacking structure.
With five Premier League goals in November alone, Thiago didn’t just lead Brentford—he led the entire division in scoring for the month. His performances and ability to influence games at key moments made him the clear and deserving winner of the Premier League’s monthly honour.
The 24-year-old beat Newcastle's Harvey Barnes, Everton's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Manchester City's Jérémy Doku, Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White, Chelsea's Reece James and Arsenal's Declan Rice to the award.
