Bayern Munich supporters will be keeping their fingers crossed ahead of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie against Arsenal.

The Bavarians were drawn against the high-flying Gunners for a spot in the semi-final as both teams will be looking to emerge winners of the competition. However, Bayern have a lot to worry about before the game as their highest goal scorer in the league, Harry Kane has been confirmed to be injured.

Bayern confirmed the injury to the England international on its official website on Sunday, March 17, 2024. According to the club, Kane suffered an injury in his left ankle and has travelled to his country for treatment.

The statement read thus,

"Kane injured his left ankle in FC Bayern’s 5-2 win at Darmstadt. The striker has still travelled to international duty with England and will be treated by the team doctors there, in close consultation with the FC Bayern medical department."

Everyone at Bayern will hope Kane gets fit before they travel to the Emirates on April 9, 2024, before the second leg game at the Allianz Arena.
