Carlo Ancelotti of Real Madrid has shared the words spoken by Pep Guardiola to the players of Real Madrid in the dressing room after the game.

Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, recently revealed that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola paid a visit to the Los Blancos dressing room to offer his congratulations following their Champions League quarter-final defeat on Wednesday. The match was a closely fought contest, with both teams displaying excellent attacking and defensive skills.

Real Madrid ultimately emerged victorious after a penalty shootout, having drawn 1-1 (4-4 on aggregate) with City at the Etihad Stadium. Unfortunately for Guardiola's side, Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovacic missed their penalties, while Luka Modric missed for Real Madrid.

Despite the disappointment, Guardiola displayed great sportsmanship by visiting the opposing team's dressing room to offer his congratulations on a well-fought match. Ancel0otti confirmed this heart-warming gesture of Pep Guardiola in his post-match interview where he said, “This is about the only way you can come to City and win. You work, sacrifice, and win however you can. Pep Guardiola is a gentleman, always has been. He congratulated us, wished us good luck and that’s what a real gent does.”
