Arsenal's midfielder, Granit Xhaka has given an update on his future to supporters of the club ahead of next season.
The Swissman was speaking in an interview with Football London where he confirmed that he will take a decision on his future before the final league game against Wolves.
If next week we know much more what happen with my future, I will be thankful for the fans because of how they treat me after this [turnaround], I didn’t expect that if I am honest. I am thankful for that and I want to give them something back [for] - maybe - my last game on Sunday [vs Wolves].
There are reports that he will not renew his contract and could be on his way to Bayer Leverkusen, they are in advanced talks to sign him for €15m transfer fee on a four-year deal. Arteta will not stand in the way of Xhaka'a decision to leave the club if there is a replacement for the midfielder. The player's contract will expire at the end of the 2023/24 season.
