As Chelsea gear up for the Premier League return against Bournemouth, head coach Graham Potter, in a press conference, addressed the injury concerns of some of the key players at the club.

The Chelsea boss confirmed that N'Golo Kante and Armando Borja would be long-term absentees for the blues as Kante might not be making a return this year. He also revealed that Wesley Fofana picked up a minor injury in his final stages of rehab and would be out for a short period of time.

Potter did not speak about any injury concern for Mason Mount as many had initially speculated, but he confirmed that Reece James is back in the squad.

Potter revealed:

‘Wesley had a little setback, which can sometimes happen at the very last stage of rehab, so he will be [out for] a couple of weeks,’

Chelsea would be looking to bounce back after a poor run of form so far in the premier league as the blues failed to win their last two matches before the start of the world cup 2022.
