According to reports from Mirror Football, Pique condemns the action by those fans as he claims that booing did not help the confidence of the player.
The Spanish player also reminded the fans that Roberto was playing the position for the first time and needed time to adapt to that position.
The whistles towards Sergi Roberto are hurtful. I would like to remind people that he is a midfielder, not a winger. He has made a sacrifice to adapt to that position on the pitch.

People are free to express themselves, but I do not like the whistles, they do not help. I know the person. He is a spectacular human being, and he wants more than anything for this club to be successful. I am hurt a lot by this.
Pique also said he believes the result is not an accurate reflection of his team's performance.
I think the result is lopsided and playing at home it is a bad score. But if you look at the game, in the first half we have competed, and they have taken the lead with a rebounded goal. They 0-3 hurts us.
