Former Real Madrid Player, Gareth Bale has announced that he will make his golf debut at the PGA Tour event two weeks after retiring.
The 33-year-old confirmed his retirement from football in January after the conclusion of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. Bale shocked his fans on Monday evening by taking to Instagram and confirming his involvement in next month's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The five-time UEFA Champions League winner has always been a big fan of playing golf. He has a three-hole golf course at his house in Wales, with the holes styled after holes at three of the world's best golf venues.
Bale had earlier unveiled a banner that read 'Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order' during his time in the Spanish capital.
