He stated, “For me, Osimhen is under pressure; that’s why he is trying everything possible to score. The pressure is affecting him and I think his confidence level has dropped a little bit whenever he faces the opponent goalpost, so he needs to get his confidence back.”
Victor Osimhen has proven to be an instrumental figure in the Super Eagles of Nigeria's attack at AFCON 2023 so far with the Napoli number 9 playing a huge role in helping the team create and get chances in front of goal. This however has not been the concern of football fans and analysts worldwide as the star player has recorded one goal in the three games played by Nigeria so far, the main concern has been the striker's inability to convert the chances he has had for the team so far.
