Manchester United suffered its second successive defeat in all competitions in the game against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.
The Red Devils have failed to pick up any point in their opening two games of the most lucrative club competition in Europe having lost to Bayern Munich in the opening group game. The manager of the club, Erik Ten Hag has called for togetherness from every stakeholder at the club.
"We stick together, we are together in this. Me, directors, team, all together we will fight. We know we have to do better. We are on it."
Manchester United have suffered injury to some of its key players in the past few weeks. They have been without three left-backs, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Sergio Reguilón which has forced Ten Hag to play its midfielder Sofyan Amrabat in the position in the past three matches.
The defeat against Galatasaray is the club's fifth defeat across all competitions, however, the supporters of the Red Devils will hope they can get back to winning ways when they face Brentford on Saturday, October 7, 2023, before the International break.
