The head coach of Chelsea Football Club Enzo Maresca has shared his biggest regret in the defeat against Leeds United.

Maresca was speaking during the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Bournemouth on Saturday, December 6, 2025. According to him he regretted not starting Josh Acheampong as against Tosin Adarabioyo who was key in Chelsea’s defeat.

He said,

"One of the regrets I have after Leeds is that I didn't play with Josh Acheampong. The reason why we played with Trevoh, Benoit and Tosin was that we saw long balls to their strikers, but even that, we lost most of them”.

He also spoke about people calling his team inexperienced after the defeat by Leeds United.

He said,

"We are always talking about experience when we drop points but when we beat Barcelona and drew with Arsenal, no one is talking about experienced players. This was not the reason. Who was the most experienced player for us in the week? Tosin. Did he play well? So it is not about experience."

Chelsea fans have also called that Tosin Adarabioyo does not any game again for the Blues especially for his error that led to third goal for the Blues.
