Jurgen Klopp took charge of his final game as a manager of Liverpool but there was a bit of uproar among the fans of the club after Darwin Nunez failed to applaud the German international during his guard of honour.

There are reports that both men are not on good terms after Jurgen Klopp froze Darwin Nunez out of the first team for his inability to score goals. Klopp had always kept faith in Nunez but everyone can guess that the former Liverpool manager seemed to have lost his patience with the striker. This might have been the reason why he failed to applaud Klopp.

What happened between Nunez and Klopp?

Nunez has been dropped to the bench by Klopp following his indecisiveness in front of goal. He has also been tagged as one of the reasons why Liverpool failed to win the league this season which was eventually won by Manchester City.

The forward player did not start any game for Liverpool in the last six games of the season. He started just one of those games which was against Everton and Liverpool lost the game.

What does the future hold for Jurgen Klopp?

Klopp confirmed that he was going to leave Liverpool at the end of this season after spending nine years at the Merseyside side. There was a lot of excitement and some teary faces among the players and fans as Klopp bid his final goodbye to Anfield.

However, everyone will be keeping their fingers crossed to see what the future holds for Klopp. If he will return to coaching or take a complete break from the job.
